Charlotte May Moulton-Davies

BIO
Charlotte is an examiner and Fellowship member with the Associated Board of Dance. Charlotte has had many years of teaching experience with both children as young as 2 years of age, and in professional colleges in London. Before becoming principal of Charlotte May Academy, she had an extremely successful career as a professional dancer and performer working in London and all over the world. Charlotte’s credits include; various professional musical theatre shows touring and West End, and backing dancer for music artists and music videos such as Take That, S Club 7, Pixie Lott, and many more. Charlotte was also nominated for a prestigious ‘Carl Allen Award’ for performer of the year.
Charlotte first began her training at the age of 3, with Suzanne Sims School of Dance, and went on to study at the “London Studio Centre” with a full scholarship where she gained her DipHE in Dance and Performing Arts.
Suzanne Sims

BIO
Suzanne qualified in 1987, and shortly afterward began her own school, which she ran for 20 years before passing it on to her pupil Charlotte May. In that time, she won several awards for the highest national examination results.
Suzanne has staged many full productions in local theatres as well as choreographing for local amateur dramatic groups. She has also worked in state education under the PESS framework, and for GCSE dance. Suzanne was an ABD examiner for several years. Many former pupils have progressed to Dance and Drama colleges and successful careers in the Dramatic Arts.
Lee Moulton-Davies

BIO
Lee has a vast amount of experience in entertainment. In his younger years, Lee was an international gymnast representing Great Britain. From there he went on to perform in ‘Pirates Adventure’ in Majorca and various other shows around the world. He then returned to the UK to work in the film industry as a stunt performer.
As well as having vast experience in coaching acrobatics and gymnastics, Lee is also a qualified personal trainer. Lee helps CMA students learn how to safely perform tricks that can be used in various dance routines.
Elle Parker

BIO
Elle has been part of Charlotte May Academy since it’s very beginning and has been a hugely popular teacher since joining the team in 2020.
As a dancer herself, Elle has achieved outstanding success, winning numerous national titles and awards as a soloist. She proudly represented her dance association on numerous occasions at the prestigious TDCI Scholarships in Blackpool, competing at the very highest level.
Last year, she represented Wales at the Dance World Cup with her modern jazz and hip hop solos, achieving two top 10 placements - 7th and 9th - as well as winning a silver medal with our musical theatre troupe.
Ffion Parry

BIO
Ffion joined Charlotte May Academy at age seven and has been a dedicated member ever since. From the outset, she was selected for both the Ballet and Senior Jazz Companies. A consistent soloist and award-winner, she has achieved the highest level of exam grades and competed in the silver medal–winning CMA Musical Theatre Troupe at the Dance World Cup 2025. As well as being a valued member of the CMA team, she also works as a Teaching Assistant in primary schools.
Lily Day

BIO
Lily has been a student with Charlotte May Academy since 2017 and joined the team in 2023. She is a talented gymnast and dancer who has won many competitions as a soloist.
She regularly competes in regional and national competitions and proudly represented Wales at the Dance World Cup 2025 with her across solo. She was also part of our musical theatre troupe that achieved a silver medal at the competition.
Briana Paine

Private Singing Lessons
BIO
Briana is a singer/ actor born in South Wales. She trained in Musical Theatre at the University of Chichester and graduated with first class honours 2018. Since, she has mostly worked on cruise ships a lead vocalist, and has visited over 50 countries so far. She most recently worked for Carnival Cruise Lines performing in their onboard productions around the Bahamas, Mexico and other parts of the Caribbean. She has also been the Vocal Captain of the show cast where her main responsibility is to maintain the vocal integrity of a show once the cast have left Miami studios.
She has also performed as a vocalist in and around London, including venues such as The Other Place, The Union Theatre and Brasserie Zedel, Crazy Cows in Joey Contreras’ London debut concert.
